Dual Credit is an advanced learning opportunity that allows high school students to simultaneously earn credit toward a high school diploma and a postsecondary degree or certificate.
The College of Southern Idaho works closely with high schools to deliver college courses that are identical to those offered on the college campus. Credits earned in a Dual Credit class become part of the student's permanent college record.
The CSI Health Science Pathway is the program designed for high school students interested in persuing a career in the Health Care industry. Students who participate in the pathway have the opportunity to earn a certification in one of our four capstone areas: Pharmacy Tech, Certified Nursing Assisting, Central Sterile Processing, and Emergency Medical Technician. These certifications enable students to apply to entry level health care jobs right out of High School.
