Paramedic : Program Admission Requirements & Qualifications

Paramedic Certification

Graduates of the CSI Paramedic Program qualify to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician’s Paramedic written and practical exams (http://www.nremt.org/about/about_exams.asp). Once certified, individuals will qualify to begin work or test for state certification throughout the country. Listed above are the approximate costs for the paramedic program at CSI not including field internship, optional books, "varies" charges, and other fees. These figures are not a contract and are only provided as an "estimate" figure to assist students in planning their finances. Students are required to have their own health care insurance. Students are advised not to purchase anything on this list until they have attended an orientation session.

Students are responsible for their own transportation to campus, clinical and field trips. Students will have clinical experiences throughout the Magic Valley, sometimes as far away as 120 miles in one direction.
