The College of Southern Idaho is a regionally accredited institution of higher education with elaborate classroom, laboratory and library facilities. Subjects for the radiography program are taught in the Department of Health Sciences and Human Services that is located on campus in the Aspen Building where two state of the art radiography teaching laboratories are located.
CSI Rad Lab 1 is contained in 154 in the Aspen Building. This first-rate teaching and learning facility contains six radiographic positioning practice stations including a new energized general purpose radiography machine, two new and one refurbished electronically configured x-ray machine simulators. Also there is the CS 800 Kodak Computed Radiography System, a portable x-ray machine, a darkroom providing automatic x-ray film processing, all the essential ancillary instructional aids, equipment, and supplies. Instructional capability also includes a computer, Smart Board, VCR, and 35 mm slide projection capability.

Valuable resources also include some of the finest diagnostic radiography departments in the Rocky Mountain area that can be found at Magic Valley Regional Medical Center, Twin Falls; Cassia Regional Medical Center, Burley; St. Benedict's Hospital, Jerome; Gooding County Memorial Hospital, Gooding; St. Luke's Wood River Medical Center, Ketchum; Minidoka Memorial Hospital, Rupert; Mountain View Hospital, Idaho Falls; Elmore Medical Center, Mt. Home; and Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital, Elko, NV. These superb clinical agencies provide excellent practical experiences for CSI student radiographers to achieve competence in required radiographic procedures.
