Paramedic Transition Program

The Associate Degree Nursing Program is excited to announce they will be starting a Paramedic Transition Program. The Paramedic will be required to have completed all general education courses required for the nursing program. They complete the application for the program and if accepted, are enrolled into NURR 100, a one credit online course, and NURR 150, a 4 credit Paramedic Bridge Course, with online didactic, clinical skills lab, and clinicals. After successfully completing these two courses, they enter into the 3rd semester of the nursing program and graduate after semester 4 is completed.

Paramedics that are interested need to complete the following:

1. Apply to the College of Southern Idaho
2. Have all official transcripts sent to our records department for a credit audit.
3. Complete the application process for the Paramedic Transition Program (download Application Form).
