No special license is required for surgical technologists; however, most hospitals prefer, and some require, certification. Graduates of our program may apply to the Liaison Council on Certification for the Surgical Technologist (LCC-ST) for the Surgical Technologist National Certifying Exam, provided all the eligibility requirements are met.
